Servicing equipment in the field is an integral component of the Fitness Retail industry. The IRIDIUM tool allows for the manual entry of customer requested services as well as generates tickets for service contracts sold of the preventive maintenance nature. The tool also tracks service tickets internally and are used to schedule the appropriate technicians based on location and availability. Communicating with the inventory system, parts purchased for a service call are linked to a given service ticket.

The tool uses the same GPS-based technology that allows for route assistance and tracking during deliveries to schedule service calls in various geographic regions. Notes can be entered on service tickets during the planning stages, and next-day schedules can be printed for each delivery vehicle.

Route stops and orders can be communicated to the technician, including new and existing service calls within a defined route territory and allowing for an optional override.
